humanNATURE Bootcamp
An activating weekend of deep listening, natural wonder, and self discovery for our resilient future.
HumanNATURE campout is a gathering for those ready to deepen their relationship with the more than human world. We humans are being challenged to redefine our relationship to nature amsidst our darkening technilogical revolution and extractive leadership spreading across our communities. Look no further than our nomalized pump jacks scattered across California and now the survellience (data) centers spreading across the country, soon to be normalized?
How quickly we can learn prioritize radical reciprocity with nature in our day to day lifestyle will play a central role in deciding our fate as a species. How we relate to the earth determines our future...We Are Nature.
We have invited top ecological eductators, herbalistst, artists, and historians to share their indigenous wisdom about what it means to be in right relations with our planet and its natural resources.
We are excited to be partnering with local friends to bring you this beautiful community camping experience of deep listening and learning workshops with thoughtful nourishment, such as:
+ Pinhole Coffee Truck (Saturday morning campers)
+ Local Organic Meals made onsite by Pinyon Ojai and sponsored by Ojai Roots Farm
+ Local craft spirits and natural beverages by Show Pony Bar
+ Morning Movement by Susie Longwill

WHAT TO BRING:
Camping Gear (Tent, Sleeping Pad, Sleeping Bag, Night Light, Flash light, Pillow!)
Your favorite Thermos and/or Kitchenware (Plate/Bowl/Fork/Spoon/Spork!)
Closed toed Shoes, preferrably comfortable boots for exploring
Multiple layers of clothing as it will be cool in mornings and warm during the day
A journal to document your learnings, questions, and epiphanies!
Snacks! We'll have delicious meals prepared daily but always good to have snacks, especially for the kidos!

Tierra Sol welcomes international griot and kora master Ablaye Cissoko from Senegal and the French savant of the diatonic accordion, Cyrille Brotto to Hotel El Roblar in Ojai for a special afternoon performance on Mother's Day.

Tierra Sol is stoked to finally bring Olas Perdidas to OJAI. A group of esteemed local musicians who create a unique soundscape that bridge coastal Mexican folk with the rugged, dusty trails of the Wild West.
Additionally, this will be the grand opening of the Mariposa Ballroom, the new space at the newly opened Hotel El Roblar.
